Introduction to Cardiac Electrophysiology (ES-02-EP)

This course offers a basic overview of Cardiac Electrophysiology. It is presented prior to the Introduction to the EP-WorkMate ® System, Advanced Application Course - EPWorkMate ® , and the Advanced Technical Course - EP-WorkMate ® .

The course covers the following:

  • Definition of Electrophysiology
  • Normal Conduction in the Human Heart
  • Components of an EP Study
  • Overview of ablation procedures
  • Mechanisms of Tachyarrhythmias

Course Dates: This course is scheduled prior to either the Advanced Applications Course or Introduction to the EP-WorkMate® Course. The course is presented for 1/2 day.

  • Introduction to the EP-WorkMate® - Thursday starting at 9:00AM until 1:00 PM
  • Advanced Application Course - EP-WorkMate® - Tuesday starting at 1:00 PM until 5:00
  • Advanced Technical Course - EP-WorkMate® - Tuesday starting at 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM

Tuition: $500 per attendee

(attendee must be registered in the Introduction to the EP-WorkMate® System, Advanced Application Course - EP-WorkMate® , or Advanced Technical Course - EP-WorkMate® )

Tuition includes the following:

  • Ground Transportation to and from the Philadelphia Airport or Train Station
  • Ground Transportation to and from the hotel
  • Hotel Accommodations for 1 night
  • Breakfast bar at the hotel
  • Lunch (if take prior to the Introduction to the EP-WorkMate® System or Advanced Technical Course - EP-WorkMate® )

Tuition does not include:

  • Airfare / Trainfare
  • Lunch (if taken prior to the Advanced Application Course - EP-WorkMate® )
  • Hotel Amenities
